Grab a coffee at Little Owl Coffee at the Populus Hotel and head up to the second floor at 10 am. At 11 am, we will walk around civic center, photographing and enjoying each other’s company. At noon, we will end the photo walk at CPAC, where a photo swap will be taking place. Please bring a few prints to trade, and have fun meeting other photographers and see their work.
We're planning on visiting Valhall Arts in Fort Collins this Saturday (03/08 @ 1pm) to check out "Silver and Salt," an exhibition celebrating the artistry of historical photographic processes.
The exhibition showcases the tactile beauty of analog photography, featuring works created using techniques such as wet plate collodion, platinum, salted paper, toned cyanotypes, and gelatin silver prints. Curated by Laura Cofrin, it brings together 16 contemporary artists from across the nation who are keeping these historic methods alive.
This meetup won't necessarily involve a photo walk, but we may head over to Stodgy Brewing Company afterward to hang and talk about the show.
