What does a Shutter Release Button Do?
Our shutter release buttons heighten the action of your cameras shutter. This allows you far more control and feel when locking focus, exposure, and it even allows you to hand-hold your camera at slower shutter speeds by reducing camera shake.
Will I need a large or small, concave or convex?
It’s all a matter of personal preference. It’s not like prescription glasses – there isn't one size or shape that is better or worse for your camera.
Will your buttons fit my camera?
Our threaded buttons will fit 99% of all cameras out there. This includes that old film camera you've got displayed on your bookshelf. We developed three different thread bases that ensure a seamless fit for almost any camera. Just specify your camera model when placing your order and we'll make sure your new threaded button is a perfect fit.
How do your sticky backed buttons attach to my camera?
Simple, just peel off the paper tab from the adhesive and place it directly on top of your shutter button. Firmly hold it down for 10 seconds; that's it! We worked with the chemists at 3M to develop a super sticky, super durable adhesive that leaves no residue on your camera while still living up to the demands of daily shooting. We even include a few additional adhesive dots in case you want to switch up your button or camera.
What are these black rubber circles included in my box?
We include custom "o-rings" with every threaded button order. Using them is easy, just place the o-ring on your camera's shutter release, then thread on your button. The o-ring creates friction that helps prevent the button from unthreading and falling off your camera. Also, we recommend tightening your button every so often to ensure it remains nice and snug.

I ordered a button and it does not look like the button pictured on the website?
This is what we love about wood! Every single piece is completely unique. Each piece can vary in color, tone, shade, and grain structure making your button uniquely yours. No one else in the world has a button that looks exactly like your button.
Will my etched button line up horizontally on my camera?
Although we can't guarantee an etching will line up perfectly, we've developed and chosen specific designs that will look beautiful at any angle.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders are shipped every Monday and Thursday. Domestic US shipping generally takes 2-3 business days to arrive via USPS and international orders can take up to 20 business days to arrive depending on your distance from the US and your country's customs regulations.
Is tracking available for international orders?
Not yet. Our current shipping partner, USPS, does not track packages once they leave the US. However, most packages arrive in a timely manner safe and sound. In rare instances, a customs office can hold a package longer than we would like but eventually the package always arrives.
How much does shipping cost?
We charge a flat shipping and handling fee of $5 for all domestic shipping and $15 for all international shipping. The cost never goes up no matter how much you order. The more you buy, the more you save.
What kinds of payment do you accEpt?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Apple Pay. We also accept Paypal and Venmo transactions.
What is your return policy?
We value your business and will make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Our return policy is simple: within 7 days after receiving your product, if you're unhappy for any reason, you can return or exchange your product at no charge (minus s&h). *This excludes personalized etchings, woods, and all other custom products.
How do I make a return?
Simply ship the item back to us and we will refund your purchase minus return shipping. We guarantee our workmanship and stand behind every piece that leaves our shop! If your products fail for any reason, we will make it right.
