Unboxing and Video Reviews

Straight from the Artisan Obscura Community

I want to share a few links to video reviews covering Artisan Obscura gear. Over the past year, I’ve pushed to strengthen the Tribe community. I’m posting more to the blog (like this post) and connecting with photographers across the world to spread the world about quality, hand-crafted camera accessories.

I work hard to provide photographers with camera acessories that inspire their crafts. That’s why it makes me so happy to see camera enthusiasts creating positive video reviews for their hot shoe covers and soft release buttons. Pop down below to watch two videos. You’ll see an unboxing of a classic Chatke Viga set. You’ll also see a video review for a custom engraved set – a unique Scottish theme!

Of course, if make a video review or unboxing video of your own, be sure to email me or tag Artisan Obscura on social media.

A special shoutout to Scott Graham and Liam Gordon for taking the time to record their opinions. For the record, Scott Graham did this all on his own and was not paid. Liam Gordon contacted me for a custom design and I hooked him up with the accessories you see with the video. His review was not paid either.

Thanks for supporting Artisan Obscura!

Artisan Obscura makes custom wood shutter releases and hot shoe covers out of a variety of exotic woods. I picked up one of their sticky backed release buttons...

There is something to be said for making [your camera] your own in the looks department.

These might be the most unique camera accessories out there. They are crafted from various exotic woods…

I now (probably) have the only Scotland themed wooden soft-shutter button and hot shoe cover out there
