Unique to the lineup is our Buckeye Burl. This stunning wood has undergone a transfusion of sorts. To add stability and to draw out its beautiful character, our Buckeye has been injected with a yellow plastic. The plastic hardens and stabilizes the wood, which punches up the contrast of those native, black swirls found inside.

Buckeye is one of the softest and lightest hardwoods native to the United States. The burl sections of Buckeye are highly prized, and their light-on-dark knot clusters, in addition to their unique, almost black discolorations, make them sought after for a variety of specialty and hobbyist applications.  

11MM diameter is universally compatible with all cameras. 14MM diameter is compatible with the majority of cameras, but is not suggested with medium format cameras which have the shutter button next to the lens (ie. Hasselblad, Mamiya, and Rolleiflex).

REG THREAD compatible with majority of cameras having a threaded shutter button. (ie. Fuji, Leica, Canon 35mm Film, Nikon 35mm Film, Pentax 35mm Film)
